I'm Günther, otherwise known as Gynthu. If you're reading this you probably want to know more about me and my video editing journey.

I started video editing as a hobby when I was 8 years old. Back then I was that weird kid who had a gaming YouTube channel. Everybody laughed at me for doing something different and "bold", but little did they know, this alone started my editing career.

Now I've been working with clients since the end of 2022. First I began offering my services on Fiverr, like most freelancers in the early days. I got a few clients there and even some great reviews but it had downsides. Fiverr took a huge cut of my hard work and it didn't let me transfer clients out of the platform. So I had to think of something else.

I thoroughly researched what other successful editors were doing and listened to some of my mentors at the time. It all led to a personal brand on Twitter. So I started posting daily back then. Gathered followers and even some fans. I never thought that someone could be a fan of mine someday. Now these fans also have amazing careers because I shared everything I knew. I remember it like it was yesterday when my first edit somewhat blew up and brought me a bunch of leads and my first client off Twitter.

Now I am doing this as a full-time video editor. I am really thankful for all of my followers and previous clients because without them I wouldn't be where I am today.
